Assistant Manager – Business Development

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the protective packaging industry.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and industry partners.
  • Conduct market research to stay current with industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and regularly report on progress to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a focus on protective packaging.
  • Strong understanding of the protective packaging industry and market trends.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using sales and marketing tools, such as CRM software.
